The organically reared is based on the well-being and on the good feeding of the animals so they can grow and develop themselves in a natural and healthy way.
The feeding of the organically reared cows is based on forages and quality feed, without hormones and antibiotics, which ensures a balanced growth of the animals. These forages are cultivated according to the ecological norms and respect the needs of each species. For example, the diet of the cows must contain at least a 60% of forages.

Concerning the health of the cattle, the tendency is to prevent before having to resort to a treatment. Whenever it is possible, alternative medicines are used, like homeopathy, fitotherapy or oligoelements.
The handling of the animals respects its physiological needs and completely avoids the mutilations —animals being enchained, horns and tails being cut...— and stress. Indeed, it has been proved that taking measures of ventilation and hygiene in the stables or corrals and making balanced rotations in meadows and grass avoids the appearance of certain diseases.
